InScribe, LLC began eleven years ago as a consulting firm specializing in dictation and transcription system design, installation, training and support. Dani Lynch, the president of InScribe, installed systems in most of the major hospitals in Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee. Her reputation grew to the point where large corporations (Province Healthcare, Attentus Healthcare, LifePoint Hospitals - to name a few) placed her on an on-going contract to provide advice and implementation support.

In 2003, she was asked to design a centralized dictation and transcription system for Province Healthcare in Brentwood, Tennessee (46 hospitals). Using Dictaphone equipment, she created and implemented a system that quickly began to save the corporation, literally, hundreds of thousands of dollars from year one. The centralized system allowed all the hospitals to pay a fraction of the cost for one large system, versus individual system and maintenance. It also allowed transcriptionists at one facility to assist other facilities when their census was low. Their transcriptionists had much higher job satisfaction since there was never a need to either send them home on unpaid leave or worse - pay their salaries while they performed filing or other administrative tasks to fill their time.

As a result, standards were implemented corporate-wide that created more consistent patient reports in content, quality assurance and turn-around time.

In 2006, Attentus Healthcare, asked Dani to broaden her scope of services to include transcription as well as system design. They wanted her to provide a more turnkey solution so they could simply turn over the ENTIRE process to her company. Dani began accepting LifePoint, Attentus, Tenet and standalone facilities, providing the responsiveness, quality standards and rapid turn-around time she was known for in the industry.

Today, 200+ “InScribers” generate over a million lines per month - after only 2 years in business.

This month, InScribe has made the decision to not only offer transcription services on client systems but also provide space-sharing on InScribe systems. This allows facilities a true turnkey solution for their dictation and transcription needs. We:

We support ADT (Admission, Discharge and Transfer) interfaces from a clinical system or report upload interfaces. Your facility may opt for manual patient data entry. With this option, your staff would be responsible for faxing/emailing patient data and we would enter it as we go for an additional $.005 per line.
