Dictaphone C-Phone Repair

C-Phone repair is performed at a flat rate of $75.00 plus prepaid return postage.   This does not include entire circuit board assemblies, enclosure pieces, wall transformers, batteries, unrepairable coilcords or button caps.   (The latter two for availability reasons).

Turnaround time is generally within 24 hours.   While there are, on rare occasion, bummer repairs that take more time to troubleshoot, the vast majority are on the return trip within a day.

   
• Pack the phone well, heavily surrounded with bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper.    
• Some tape (not Scotch® tape) over the 10 button caps will help keep them from getting lost.

Hint: If the phone powers on, (you can see a display on the LCD), this means your power supply wall transformer is good, so don't ship it and you'll save on postage.   If you're not sure, better include it, otherwise send just the C-Phone and telco line cord.

• Note the amount you're paying to ship the box.   Add that amount to $75.00 and include a check or Postal Money Order for the total with the C-Phone.   If, for some reason, your phone is not repairable and you want it back, the $75.00 minus shipping will be refunded and your phone returned.   If you do not want the phone back the entire amount will be returned to you.    
• Please note that if you make payment with a check we're forced to wait until it clears before returning the phone.   The few crooks out there make it hard on all of us.   Sorry.    
• Payment transfers may be made through PayPal® to: technoid@wk.net posted before the C-Phone is returned.    
• Please include your name and physical return shipping address (i.e. no P.O. Boxes).    
• Please include as detailed a description as you can of the problem you’re experiencing with your C-Phone.    
• When you receive your repaired C-Phone back, please drop an email to technoid@wk.net letting us know you did in fact receive it, and if you would, any comments, pro or con.    
• If you need a C-Phone “proprietary” telco line cord, a 6 foot replacement is available for an additional $10.00.    
• If your C-Phone needs a new internal battery, a replacement is available for an additional $12.00.    
• If your C-Phone wall transformer is dead, a replacement is available for an additional $32.00.    
• The C-Phone latest upgrade Version 7.1 is available for an additional $25.00.
